Author Bio

Carol Casey began her writing career in Chicago as a news writer and editor. Over the past 15 years she has worked with women’s and children’s charities in the areas of fundraising, media, and event planning. She is a passionate advocate for early literacy.  Dear Baby, I'm Watching Over You is Carol's fourth book in the Dear Baby series, and her first collaboration with illustrator Mark Braught.

 

Illustrator Bio

Jason Oransky is a lead graphic artist for Carter Clothes, Inc. He is an avid Florida State alumni and lives in Atlanta. Jason is an active participant in an Atlanta Big Brother mentoring program. His vibrant and colorful art can be found in the first three Dear Baby Books.

 

Illustrator Bio

Mark Braught has received numerous career honors for his work, including recognition from the Society of Illustrators and a 2004 Caldecott nomination for the illustrations in the book Cosmos's Moon.  Mark also created the full color paintings for the merchandising of the movie, Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone.  Dear Baby, I'm Watching Over You is his first book with Dear Baby Books.
